Responsibilities

  • Lead paid acquisition strategy and performance, including setting UA targets that align with top- and bottom-line business goals.
  • Oversee forecasting, budget management, conversion rate optimization, and efficient growth across key channels.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of growth marketers focused on UA across mobile and web.
  • Refine and operationalize LTV:CAC models in partnership with Finance and Analytics.
  • Use data to drive decisions, uncover actionable insights, inform targeting strategies, and optimize marketing investment.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to launch campaigns that support business outcomes.
  • Craft and execute multi-year UA strategy, considering the evolving privacy landscape and adoption of AI.
  • Drive strategic roadmap conversations with major advertising partners.
  • Champion experimentation and foster a culture of testing and learning.
  • Clearly communicate performance insights and growth strategy to executive leadership.
  • Contribute to campaign execution when needed, bringing hands-on knowledge of paid social, paid search, and measurement tools.
  • Be a thought leader in marketing measurement, including practical application of last-touch, incrementality testing, and blended attribution.
  • Navigate the post-privacy mobile marketing world.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in growth or performance marketing.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience directly managing a team of 3 or more.
  • Experience in B2C mobile app marketing, ideally in a subscription-based business model.
  • Experience managing user acquisition (UA) across multiple verticals or business units.
  • Strong domain expertise in both mobile and web UA.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale UA budgets and forecasting performance tied to business KPIs.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute.
  • Expertise in measurement strategy and tools.
  • Experience building and maintaining strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Comfortable presenting complex performance trends and strategy recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Highly organized, accountable, and adaptive.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the outdoor and mapping app space.
  • Experience working both at an agency and in-house.
