About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Manager, People & Culture, the Manager, People & Culture is a key leadership role responsible for delivering senior-level employee relations expertise and strategic support to leaders across IREN - support to Australia, US and Canada sites. Partnering closely with corporate and operational leaders, this role drives business success through strong organizational effectiveness, operational capability, and impactful people programs. As IREN continues to grow, the Manager will play an integral role in deploying people initiatives, facilitating training, implementing best-practice processes, and recruiting top talent for critical roles. This role requires a strong appetite for ambiguity, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a high sense of urgency to effectively support the rapid expansion of our multiple sites.

Requirements

  • Experience with multi-location (AUS, CAN and US ) HR practices preferably in a multi-location organization within the technical space
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team player who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives with a focus on developing operational talent and capability.
  • Strong verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with and influence individuals in different disciplines and at different levels
  • Strong site based knowledge and experience supporting operational leadership
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • High attention to detail with capabilities to focus on delivering on objectives to meet business requirements
  • Experience with various change management methodologies to support client groups through change initiatives
  • Possess a strong ability to develop relationships
  • Minimum of 10+years of work experience with proven career growth path in a global organization
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Human Resource governance practices in Canada, the US and Australia preferred
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred, but not imperative) and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours to support the company
  • Experience with problem solving in complex projects that have a company-wide impact

Responsibilities

  • Partner with onsite operations leaders in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment to drive growth, employee relations, performance, compensation, and development outcomes.
  • Anticipate workforce needs amid changing business and market conditions; execute targeted hiring strategies to fill critical roles quickly.
  • Identify key positions and implement risk mitigation and succession plans to ensure operational continuity.
  • Assess capability gaps and deliver practical, scalable solutions to support growth.
  • Advise on competitive compensation structures aligned to performance and business priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted, objective advisor during policy changes, organizational shifts, and complex employee matters — balancing fairness with risk management.
  • Provide expert guidance across compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, L&D, and employee relations in ambiguous environments.
  • Support leadership development and workforce mobility strategies aligned to growth.
  • Lead change management initiatives, designing and implementing future-state people, process, and structural improvements.
  • Diagnose performance and organizational challenges, delivering clear, actionable solutions.
  • Champion continuous improvement in people structures, engagement, performance, and recognition systems.
