Responsible for creating a roadmap of process and technology solutions which will drive efficient and effective execution. Implement procedures impacting operations across quality, materials management, engineering and EH&S. Assure compliance within the manufacturing unit or site while delivering high levels of customer service and complying with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Five years of experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in Packaging.
  • Business acumen coupled with functional leadership experience is required to drive high performance in a complex manufacturing operations.
  • Experience leading a team of 20+ of indirect and direct reporting Packaging Manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, ability to work cross-functionally, communicate effectively, and execute.

Responsibilities

  • Assist teams in troubleshooting manufacturing issues. Provide technical knowledge and training to efficiently produce the highest quality products.
  • Support packaging by managing the process of investigating exceptions and implementing effective CAPA's.
  • Manage all aspects of technical training for new and existing packaging personnel. Manage the development of training content including new product introduction and process development.
  • Drive Continuous improvement within packaging to identify cost savings, standard cost reductions and environmental improvements.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to reduce cost, lead identification and recommendations of actions that adapt and transform the organization to meet changing business needs.
  • Develop and manage staff through hiring, managing performance, developing talent, and providing clear expectations.
  • With staff and input from other organizations, able to synthesize action plans, timelines and budgets for project and product goals.
