The Manager, Operations Analytics plays a critical leadership role in driving improvements in guest experience and operational performance across our restaurant network. This role is responsible for leading the development of insights, analytics strategy, and reporting frameworks that inform decision-making at both the corporate and field levels. The Manager will oversee the design and execution of analytical initiatives, guide a team of analysts, and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate data into actionable strategies that improve restaurant operations. This role requires a strong balance of analytical expertise, business acumen, and leadership to influence outcomes across Operations, Marketing, Digital, Finance, and Training. RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week out of our office in Miami, FL.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical role in operations, marketing, or financial analytics, with demonstrated progression in scope and responsibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI; knowledge of Snowflake and Alteryx is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and executive communication.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive insights.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Passion for enhancing the guest experience and familiarity with QSR or multi-unit operational metrics.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience managing or mentoring analysts is preferred.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI; knowledge of Snowflake and Alteryx is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Analytics & Insights Lead the analysis of key performance metrics such as Guest Satisfaction, Speed of Service, Brand Audits, and Training Completions to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Own root cause analysis for complex operational challenges and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Lead analysis of test markets, pilots, and strategic initiatives to assess impact and guide scaling decisions.
  • Team Leadership & Development Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, providing guidance on analytical approach, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Establish best practices for data analysis, dashboard design, and insight generation.
  • Project & Analytics Delivery Ownership Own and manage analytics initiatives end-to-end, from problem definition and stakeholder alignment through analysis, solution development, and implementation.
  • Lead the design and execution of data workflows and reporting pipelines in partnership with data engineering, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of insights.
  • Define project scope, prioritize workstreams, and manage timelines to ensure high-impact initiatives are delivered efficiently.
  • Ensure analytical outputs are scalable, repeatable, and integrated into ongoing business processes and reporting.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate reporting, and improve efficiency across analytics processes.
  • Stakeholder Management & Influence Serve as a key partner to Operations, Marketing, Digital, Finance, and Training teams, ensuring alignment between analytics insights and business objectives.
  • Translate complex data into clear narratives and recommendations for senior leadership and field teams.
  • Influence decision-making by presenting insights that drive operational and strategic actions.
  • Collaborate with franchisee partners and field leadership to ensure insights are actionable and relevant.
  • Reporting & Data Products Oversee the development and evolution of dashboards, reports, and analytical tools (primarily in Tableau) to support performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Drive adoption and effective use of analytics tools across stakeholders.
  • Data Governance & Quality Partner with the RBI data team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data sources.
  • Establish and maintain KPI definitions, data standards, and governance processes.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate new data sources and enhance analytical capabilities.
  • Execution & Operational Impact Prioritize and manage multiple analytical initiatives, balancing strategic projects with ongoing business needs.
  • Drive implementation of insights by working closely with cross-functional teams and tracking impact.
  • Lead ad hoc analyses and executive-level presentations to support key business decisions.
