About The Position

Position Summary... At Sam’s Club, marketing and creative teams manage hundreds of campaign assets across channels — yet much of the work remains manual, repetitive, and slow. Creative assets are rebuilt, reformatted, and redistributed by hand because the tools and integrations to automate this work don’t yet exist. This role is for a hands-on builder. What you'll do... As Manager, Operations Analytics & Martech Automation , you will personally design, build, and implement automation solutions that streamline creative workflows, integrate Martech systems, and dramatically reduce manual effort. You’ll partner closely with Creative, Marketing, and Engineering teams — but you won’t wait for others to build the solution. You’ll prototype, configure, and deploy tools that move work faster and scale campaigns without scaling headcount. Success in this role means automation is no longer aspirational — it’s live, adopted, and delivering measurable speed-to-market gains. What You’ll Do Within your first 12–24 months, you will personally deliver outcomes such as: Build and deploy creative automation solutions Design and implement tools that automate the creation, transformation, and versioning of creative assets Reduce or eliminate manual Photoshop and file-based processes by introducing templating, rules-based transformations, or API-driven automation Prototype solutions quickly, test with real campaigns, and iterate based on feedback Hands-on development and configuration Configure and extend platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), DAMs, and related Martech tools Build integrations and workflows that move creative assets automatically between systems Write scripts, rules, or low-code / no-code automations to eliminate repetitive tasks Automate asset storage and delivery Implement automated ingestion, tagging, versioning, and governance of assets within AEM Build workflows that automatically route approved assets to the correct marketing channels Replace SharePoint-based handoffs and manual distribution with system-driven pipelines Engineer faster go-to-market workflows Map current-state creative workflows and rebuild them for speed and scale Identify the highest-leverage automation opportunities and deliver working solutions Measure and demonstrate reductions in cycle time, rework, and manual effort Partner closely with engineers — but own the build Collaborate with Engineering on architecture, security, and scalability Independently develop proofs of concept and production-ready solutions Ensure automations meet enterprise standards while still moving fast Lead by doing Set technical direction through working examples, not just documentation Mentor others by sharing patterns, tools, and reusable components Balance hands-on development with prioritization and roadmap ownership What You’ll Bring We’re looking for a Manager who has built things , not just managed them, including the ability to:
