We have an outstanding opportunity for a Manager, Operational Analytics role at our East Hartford, CT Campus.
The Operational Analytics group provides shop visit forecasts to support the sales and maintenance activities of the Commercial Engines and Aftermarket business.
You will help develop, analyze, negotiate, and manage multi-billion-dollar sales and maintenance contracts.
As part of the team, you will have frequent exposure to executive management and gain insight into the decision-making process driving these business deals and be challenged to perform your best in this fast-paced atmosphere.

Work as analyst in the P&W Commercial Aftermarket Fleet Management organization as part of the Operational Analytics group.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree 8 years of professional work experience; or an Advanced Degree in Engineering, Aerospace or Math and Statistics or analytical experience.
• Familiarity with developing and interpreting statistical models
• Experience running simulations using high-performance computing platforms (Monte Carlo)
• Experience documenting and clearly communicate forecast results to a wider team

Responsibilities

• Use proprietary Monte Carlo simulations running on a high-performance computing platform to generate forecasts that reflect the specific details of each individual contract to support sales campaigns and contract management
• Understand the impact of contractual obligations, maintenance practices, and technical performance of the engine
• Offer strategic insight to implement the best solutions and optimize value for both P&W and the customer.
• Demonstrate effective communication to explain technical details, present analytical results, and review contracts.
• Integrate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Programs, Legal, Engineering, and other departments.
