Leading the aquatic facility team means you will master the art of the 10/20 scan while ensuring every guest follows the conduct policies. Expect a work environment that features plenty of sunshine, pool chemicals, and the occasional high-stakes cleanup. Success requires six months of lifeguard experience, a high school diploma, and the lung capacity to swim at least six meters underwater. Secure a position where your expertise in lifesaving techniques and customer relations makes a daily impact on the community. Maintain a high degree of vigilance and prepare to lead emergency action plans as essential personnel for the City of Aurora. This is classified as VHNE (Variable Hour Non-Benefit Employee), where the selected candidate will work less than 29 hours per week. This position does not provide medical benefits. This position earns sick leave in accordance with the Healthy Families and Workplace Act.
