Manager of Volunteers - Team OKC
About The Position
Team OKC, under the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, is seeking a Manager, Volunteers as a key contributor on the People Management team with primary responsibility for the creation, management, and delivery of an impactful and engaging Volunteer program. Reporting to the Team OKC President this role will support the creation and execution of pre-Games volunteer engagement within the Oklahoma City community, as well as the Games Time Volunteer program. This role will work closely with functional areas across the LA28 and Team OKC organizations, in addition to internal and external community partners and stakeholders, to successfully bring the Volunteer program to life.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing Volunteers or Volunteer programs.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Extensive experience recruiting, assigning, and engaging with volunteers.
- Demonstrated commitment to co-creation and collaborative decision-making.
- Ability to lift and carry up to thirty pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in global live event delivery preferred.
