Consumers Credit Union is seeking a Manager of Security Operations & Engineering to lead our cybersecurity function and help protect our people, systems, and members. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in information systems with security responsibilities
• 2+ years of people management experience
• Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and collaborate with others across the organization

Nice To Haves

• CISSP and/ or CISM certifications- Preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day cybersecurity operations, including threat monitoring, incident response, and SOC coordination
• Manage and optimize security platforms across both cloud and on-prem environments
• Oversee vulnerability scanning, patch tracking, and remediation in collaboration with infrastructure and enterprise systems teams
• Direct application security initiatives, including: SAST/DAST tool integration WAF tuning SaaS and API risk evaluation Partnering with development teams on secure coding and design
• Manage physical security technologies such as badge access systems and video surveillance
• Mentor, coach, and manage a team of security engineers and analysts across infrastructure, security operations, and application security
• Align security engineering and operational processes with internal policies, compliance requirements, and organizational risk objectives
• Plan team workloads, support onboarding, guide career development, and create an engaging, collaborative team environment
