Get to Know Your Team: BSA Harrington Cancer Center is a state-of-the-art, 48,000-square-foot facility with two new linear accelerators for radiation treatments, 24 patient exam rooms, 28 heated chemotherapy infusion chairs and three private infusion rooms for families. The Radiation Oncology Manager is responsible for the leadership and day-to-day management of the Radiation Oncology department. This individual will oversee clinical operations, staffing, compliance, and quality assurance while continuing to perform the full scope of clinical dosimetry duties. The role ensures optimal patient care through safe, efficient, and effective radiation treatment planning and delivery, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Requirements

  • Associate degree.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • Texas State MRT License.
  • Medical Dosimetry Certification by MDCB.
  • 5 years of leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership experience in both diagnostic imaging and radiation oncology settings.
  • Advanced ARRT credentials (e.g., CT, MRI, Mammography, or Radiation Therapy).
  • Familiarity with Epic, PACS, and Aria.
  • Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., The Joint Commission and ACR Accreditation)
