About The Position

The Corporate Manager of the Office of Patient Safety will work collaboratively under the Quality division in leading, coordinating and/or supporting the performance improvement, accreditation and patient safety initiatives of the health care authority, while remaining in state and federal compliance. Review/evaluate performance data to identify needs for corrective action, as well as, potential trends, strengths, improvement opportunities, and performance shortfalls. Provide oversight and support for the development and implementation of strategies to improve organizational performance that aligns with strategic goals. Utilize LEAN concepts and facilitate on-going LEAN organizational training. Lead/participate as requested in the investigation of events and trends. Provide recommendations to management and/or administration on when to escalate events of concern for accelerated review and correction. This position must support and advocate the hospital’s mission to provide high quality, compassionate health care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data management utilizing Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • 5+ years of Healthcare experience.

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Public speaking
  • Data Management and Analysis
  • Certified LEAN, Six Sigma or Project Management Training
  • 3+ years of Healthcare Experience
