About The Position

Are you passionate about driving excellence in healthcare? Join our leadership team as the Director of Performance Improvement, where you’ll lead initiatives that shape quality care and patient safety across the entire facility. This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker who thrives on collaboration and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do Champion a facility-wide Quality Management and Performance Improvement Program, ensuring compliance with TJC, CMS, and state/federal regulations. Partner with senior leaders and department directors to design and implement quality measures that elevate patient care. Develop and monitor performance indicators, analyze trends, and lead problem-solving efforts across departments. Facilitate regular quality improvement meetings to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork. Serve as a trusted resource for medical staff committees, including infection control, risk management, and patient safety. Prepare and present quality outcomes to the Governing Board, influencing organizational strategy. Participate in the Administrator On Call (AOC) rotation, providing after-hours leadership for urgent operational or safety matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare quality management or performance improvement.
  • In-depth knowledge of TJC, CMS, OBHL, OSHA, and state/federal regulations.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
