Organization Overview: The Goddard Riverside Community Center (Goddard Riverside) and the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center (Isaacs Center) are well-established Manhattan community-based agencies that support services to approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. We are two of New York City’s leading human services organizations meeting the needs of children, youth and families, homeless individuals, and older adults through-out Manhattan and New York City. The Isaacs Center focuses primarily on the needs of children and low-income families, out-of-school and out-of-work youth, and aging New Yorkers. We operate at community centers located in the neighborhoods of East Harlem and Yorkville, and seek to deliver programs that are impactful, innovative, and intergenerational. Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Education and Workforce Development, the Manager of Participant Support Services is responsible for supervising, monitoring, and evaluating case management and case assistance services in the Isaacs Center Youth Services. In addition, the Manager of Participant Support Services will ensure that Education and Workforce Development programs are welcoming, engaging, and support the social and emotional growth of each participant. The Manager of Participant Support Services will manage the provision of individual and group support to children and young adults with significant needs. The Manager of Participant Support Services is responsible for the training and coordination of case management and case assistance staff including part-time staff, seasonal staff, and interns. In addition, the Manager of Participant Support Services will focus on the development of exemplary client service systems and advocacy. In conjunction with the Manager of Education and Workforce Development at Isaacs Center, the Manager of Participant Support Services will develop policy and procedures consistent with best practices in youth services, explore innovative models of service, and facilitate the development of an extensive resource/referral network for clients. As a result of the efforts of the Manager, Isaacs Center will position itself as a client-centric and results-oriented service provider unlike any other in New York City. Schedule: 35 hours per week Salary Range: $77,250-$85,500 Candidates must have the required qualifications to be considered for the position. The salary offer will be based on the candidate’s number of years experience in the exact or comparable position and additional preferred qualifications will be taken into account.
