About The Position

The Manager of HR & Operations ensures Fight CRC’s internal systems, administrative operations, and human resources practices support a high-performing, mission-driven team. This role oversees office operations, HR administration, and internal systems that allow the organization to function smoothly and consistently. The Manager of HR & Operations plays a key role in maintaining organizational standards, ensuring HR consistency, and supporting the operational infrastructure needed for staff and leadership to succeed. This position also supervises the Office Coordinator, who supports inventory, shipping, and event logistics.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years experience in HR administration, office management, or nonprofit operations.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and best practices.
  • Strong organizational and systems management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operational details.
  • High discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR functions including recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, background checks for staff and volunteers, and policy compliance.
  • Ensure consistency in HR processes and documentation across the organization.
  • Support performance management systems and employee engagement processes.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and HR reporting.
  • Serve as the primary operational lead for the Springfield office.
  • Oversee office management including supplies, equipment, mail, filing systems, and facility needs.
  • Ensure office systems and workflows effectively support the team’s work.
  • Maintain administrative systems that support internal operations, documentation, and workflows.
  • Coordinate leadership meeting logistics, documentation, and administrative follow-through as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline operational processes.
  • Oversee office equipment and inventory management.
  • Ensure equipment needs are identified and coordinated appropriately.
  • Maintain inventory records and ensure operational readiness for staff needs.
  • Supervise the Office Coordinator.
  • Provide operational support for internal meetings, retreats, and staff events.
  • Ensure systems support organizational growth and operational excellence.
