The successful candidate: The Manager is a strategic leader working closely with executives, department leaders and clinical leadership at City of Hope Phoenix to develop appropriate business cases and analyses to help make informed investments, strategic and operating decisions to ensure company financial goals are achieved. Provide financial and business decision support for City of Hope Phoenix. Provide overall financial reporting and analytic responsibility for City of Hope Phoenix. Drive continuous improvement in business analytics, continuously improving the accuracy of the data and tackle analytical challenges. Deliver all site financial analytics including: Revenue, Pricing (both pharma and non-pharma), Retention, Reimbursement, Cost, Margin, Service Utilization, Operations Financial Support, Monthly Variance Analysis Explanations, Management and Board Reporting, Budget, Forecast and Business Development Proformas working in conjunction with site subject matter experts. Analyze operations of City of Hope Phoenix business units regarding re-engineering, pricing, profitability, and compliance related issues. Work closely with the corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and regional Finance teams to enhance current reporting capabilities.
