Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain customer service
  • Proven experience in successfully managing, leading, and developing a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with order processing systems, Oracle preferred.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises a team of Export Customer Service Representatives who handle the daily supply chain customer service functions necessary to drive success for the Hormel Foods International business.
  • Serves as the primary escalation point for complex customer service situations as they arise.
  • Understands Hormel policies and business unit functions, to be able to resolve customer inquiries, while doing what’s best for Hormel Foods and the customer.
  • Ensure all export shipments are compliant with U.S. and foreign government requirements including US government mandated entry of Electronic Export Information (EEI) in the US government Automated Export System (AES).
  • Regularly reviews customer service processes to ensure we are being efficient and effective.
