This individual will be responsible for intaking and organizing driver requests and communicating with proper staff members to execute solutions. This position will assist drivers with requests and tasks such as vehicle issues, truck inventories, and communication between staff members. In addition, will assist management staff with driver responsibility and accountability.

Requirements

Strong internal and external communicator
Has led drivers and/or teams in transportation or logistics environments
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook and Excel)
Ability to work in a team-orientated environment
Conflict resolution skills
Highly organized

Responsibilities

Greet every driver who stops at the desk and builds positive working relationships
Verify that drivers are completing and returning daily reports, and recording necessary information
Update drivers with status updates regarding their service tickets for routes and their trucks
Ensure drivers are completing inventories and returning totes and other items to their designated areas
Inform drivers of new installations, removals, and other important information
Ensure the trucks are clean and drivers have required cleaning supplies on the truck
