About The Position

Manager of Culinary Services Job Summary Bristol is a rapidly growing culinary management company with concentration within healthcare markets and is seeking a Manager of Culinary Services to help secure growth and ensure customers services are being managed correctly. Bristol delivers custom culinary programs centered on scratch cooking, locally sourced food with a health wellness approach to dining. We are looking for a strong food/culinary background who has proven leadership with teams. Essential Functions and Key Tasks: As the Manager of Culinary Services, you will be responsible for the overall management, food production and oversite for assigned regions. Manage the food service department to provide excellent service and quality. Communicate with department, facility, and company leadership to achieve goals. Collaborate with dietitians and chefs to develop menus that are in line with market trends and deliver nutritional value. Demonstrate continuous ability to maintain and/or improve customer and patient satisfaction through communication, integrity, and performance. Lead team member recruiting, training, development, scheduling, and assignments. Perform daily inspections and assessments and coach and counsel team members. Implement team-building initiatives to create a positive and safe work environment. Adhere to KPI Operational budget and complete reporting responsibilities on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Creatively collaborate with Dining Management on special events and menus Drive compliance with health, safety, and industry regulatory agencies

Requirements

  • 5 + years multi-facetted management experience
  • Demonstrated success as a top operational performer, consistently exceeding targets and budgets
  • Proven business-to-business experience with "C level" decision makers
  • Computer knowledge and ability to work with multiple software programs is essential

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment
  • Prior experience in dining service transitions and openings is preferred
