You'll ensure our operations adhere to the highest standards of safety and compliance, making a significant impact on our organizational integrity and efficiency. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project & Bid Management, Training, Safety, and Operations), manage the Title 49, CFR, Part 217 program, and much more. We’ll look to you for: Inspecting, testing, and overseeing compliance in the field, Maintaining documentation of training and qualifications performed of contractors, subcontractors, third parties, Authority, and public agency employees, Ensuring contract compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and with Standards, Rules, Regulations and Policies, Performing field observations, and audits, Helping develop training curriculum, programs, testing and qualification guidelines. Requirements

  • Degree in technical or safety-related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in railroad operations or maintenance supervision
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Railroaad Employee with an FRA regulated agency
  • Knowledge of Federal Regulations Parts 200-299, CPUC Regulations, and CAL/OSHA regulations
  • Familiarity with implementing, directing, and monitoring safety programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
