We are seeking a highly experienced Estimating Manager to lead and scale our centralized estimating operation. This role owns estimate quality, cycle time, carrier performance, and team development while serving as the operational bridge between field leadership, insurance partners, and executive management. This is a leadership role with direct impact on revenue, production flow, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of restoration estimating experience
  • Advanced Xactimate & Symbility expertise
  • Prior leadership or senior estimator experience
  • Strong insurance negotiation and carrier relationship skills
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume production environments
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and coaching abilities

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Performance
  • Lead, coach, and develop the centralized estimating team
  • Set daily priorities, manage workloads, and ensure coverage
  • Monitor individual performance, cycle times, accuracy, and compliance
  • Create and enforce SOPs for estimating, documentation, and carrier interaction
  • Estimate Operations
  • Oversee creation of all MIT & STR estimates
  • Review complex / high-risk files and large losses
  • Ensure program compliance (State Farm, Sedgwick, etc.)
  • Approve all final estimates before submission when required
  • Carrier & Revenue Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers and program partners
  • Lead negotiations on complex files and disputed scopes
  • Drive approval speed and reduce supplement leakage
  • Monitor revenue flow and resolve bottlenecks
  • Cross-Department Coordination
  • Partner with Operations, Construction, Sales, and Field leadership
  • Align estimating priorities with production capacity
  • Support market expansion and staffing planning
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Track KPIs: cycle time, accuracy, approval rate, revenue velocity
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements
  • Support training programs and onboarding for new estimators
