About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation, the Manager of Case Management has the responsibility to ensure an effective, efficient, compassionate case management department. A successful candidate can manage employees, complete process improvement, and ensure patient satisfaction. Responsibilities: Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the case management department in accordance with established policies, to meet the needs of the patient population served Responsible for ensuring staff are trained and held accountable to providing an excellent overall patient experience Responsible for planning, development, implementing, coordinating, controlling, evaluating, and adjusting the comprehensive case management functions. Responsible for daily case load to ensure familiarity with processes to drive process improvement Promotes a positive image with the public, government, regulatory and accrediting authorities, and internal management Monitors and evaluates employee performance standards, staffing levels, and employee engagement Evaluates the impact of internal policies and programs on the delivery of case management services Manages the budget for the case management department Maintains policies and procedures for the case management department Interprets trends in utilization review and quality assurance, and develops strategy for operations and Medical Staff Reviews, evaluates, and monitors hospital’s critical numbers and takes actions to reverse negative trends Implements and educates case managers on effective utilization and the continuum of care and community resources Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in clinical specialty, hospital/healthcare administration, business, or another related field At least 2 years’ experience with case management field. Requirements
