About The Position

We’re hiring a Manager of Business Intelligence to join our growing technology team! Our BI leaders are the bridge between our complex data ecosystems and the actionable insights that drive our organization forward. About the role: A typical day in the life of our Manager of Business Intelligence could include leading a team of analysts and engineers, owning the strategic architecture of our BI environment, and partnering with executive leadership to track critical KPIs. You’ll work closely with the CTO to define and execute Nextep’s overarching BI strategy to ensure data initiatives align with company growth. Oversee the extraction and integration of complex datasets from PrismHR and other third-party tools into a centralized ecosystem. Design and deliver sophisticated internal dashboards for Sales, Operations, and Finance while developing client-facing analytics for our SMB customers. Maintain rigorous data governance and security standards to ensure full compliance with PII and HIPAA regulations. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in HR tech and data visualization to drive innovation and inform strategic decisions. About you: You have a Bachelor’s degree. You have at least 5 years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering. You have a strong background in the PEO or HR Tech industry, with deep knowledge of payroll datasets and HRIS structures. You have expert-level proficiency in Snowflake and SQL, and proven mastery of Power BI or Looker. You have exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for executive leadership and small business owners. Requirements
