About The Position

The Manager of New Product Development and Growth Projects is responsible for leading NuCO2’s new product development program and priority growth projects. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute safety, business, growth, and customer experience objectives through the alignment of departmental strategy, key performance indicators, and performance management. Develop and document the company’s new product development program and ensure a consistent flow of products and services available for commercialization. Own assigned revenue growth projects and work effectively across departments to deliver quality results on schedule. Collaborate with Linde Safety, Productivity, and Research and Development teams to ensure company standards are followed and to deliver new ideas and best practices to NuCO2. Drive team performance and accountability to exceed assigned departments’ minimum performance expectations – which are linked to the company’s financial plan. Act as the escalation point for project related issues and facilitate appropriate response in a timely manner while communicating effectively, professionally, and promptly. Work closely with NuCO2 management to routinely prioritize and report out status of all high value projects. Provide performance reporting and forecasting for assigned departments on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Provide technical input to company standard operating procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: Creative and skilled project leader who has experience in new product development and project management, preferably in the foodservice and hospitality industry. Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret technical documents. Results oriented leader with a proven record of exceeding project targets, who possesses strong work ethic, and excellent project management, productivity, communication, and problem-solving skills. Well-developed financial acumen to effectively guide/influence investment and expenditure decisions for the company. Strong problem solving, analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, managers, and groups of employees. Proficient computer skills - MS office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project or equivalent. Ability to lead and motivate other NuCO2 associates in achieving key objectives. EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. New product development experience preferred. EXPERIENCE: 5 years of experience in product or project management. Food service or hospitality industry experience preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid driver’s license Lean / Six Sigma certification preferred COMMUNICATION AND COGNITIVE ABILITIES: Passion for delivering results to customers.
