About The Position

Emerson is seeking a forward ‑ thinking leader to manage a team of project engineers delivering controls and software solutions for New Generation Projects across North America. As the Manager, New Generation Projects , you will guide strategy, execution, and innovation within our Thermal Power Solutions department, helping shape the future of emerging power technologies. This position will be based in our Cranberry Township, PA location. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Provide leadership and mentorship to employees performing project engineering activities for New Generation Projects Oversee direction, coordination, implementation, and execution of complex and high‑risk projects while ensuring alignment with company goals and commitments Support employee development and foster a growth‑focused environment that aligns with business needs Collaborate closely with customers and internal partners to deliver high‑quality service and maintain strong customer satisfaction Monitor and manage a portfolio of New Generation Projects, ensuring successful delivery Drive innovation by promoting best practices and enabling cross‑functional engagement Provide monthly sales, inventory, and utilization forecasts to support business planning Continuously improve project execution processes and identify enhancements to how services are offered and delivered Stay current on market trends to provide business insights and support future strategy development Who You Are: You anticipate customer needs and provide services that are beyond customer expectations. You deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner. You partner with others to get work done. For This Role, You Will Need: BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 10 years of related experience in project execution or engineering environment Demonstrated ability to guide teams and strategies successfully in manufacturing or engineering organizations Ability to set priorities, stay self‑motivated, and excel in a timeline‑driven setting Up to 20% travel Legal authorization to work in the United States. Requirements
