About The Position

We are looking for our next Manager of Network Services. A successful candidate will have experience leading a global team in the administration, design, deployment, and support of functional, secure networks and related services. This hands-on position involves travel, installation, collaboration and the ongoing organization of network infrastructure. Candidates should have excellent problem-solving skills and proven experience as a Network Engineer working primarily within a Cisco environment. Data protection and security will be applied to networks and related services that satisfy the needs of the organization.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in a networking leadership role
  • Strong Cisco networking expertise: switching, firewalls, VoIP, QoS, SIP, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Cisco ISE, CUCM, wireless controllers, and wireless authentication protocols
  • Proficient with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting applications
  • Ability to work effectively with vendors, ISPs, and WAN service providers
  • Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and use tools for maintenance and projects
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects, with ~15% domestic/international travel and the ability to provide support outside of normal business hours as needed

Responsibilities

  • Lead a global team in the administration, design, deployment, and support of networks and related services and maintain relevant documentation.
  • Install, configure and manage Cisco switches, routers, firewalls and wireless infrastructure
  • Resolve problems escalated by support staff, mentor team members, work with other departments as needed to complete projects, solve problems and effectively apply technology to business initiatives
  • Create, administer, provide recommendations and follow through on security policies and disaster recovery procedures
  • Coordinate operations and strategy for areas of responsibility as they pertain to the requirements of various business units and teams
  • Ability to assist with all elements of network infrastructure including installation of equipment in racks, connecting power, cabling and management.
  • Represent the organization and IT department as a whole to end users, service providers and other vendors.
