The Role The Model Portfolio Operations (MPO) team is part of the Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO) Global Middle Office (GMO) business group. We provide operational support for model portfolios and model delivered separately managed accounts. This includes delivery of model allocation updates and onboarding due diligence for third party platforms that consume Fidelity models. Our team mission is to provide flawless operations services for model portfolio and model delivered separately managed account products distributed through Fidelity Institutional while keeping pace with dynamic business growth. The Manager, Model Portfolio Operations will work within a team supporting delivery of model portfolio and managed account holdings data for Fidelity Institutional to third parties on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and adhoc basis. They will also help lead the management of new product and platform onboarding, and work with business partners to ensure deadlines are met for associated model launch and rebalance dates. In this role, you will establish best practices, define policies and procedures, and establish a strong brand of accuracy and control. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelor’s degree required 5+ years of experience in an operations or customer facing role Foundational knowledge of Mutual Funds, ETFs, and Separately Managed Accounts Aptitude with Excel, including automation using macros, pivot tables, and formulas Experience with managing internal and external relationships Proven ability to manage highly confidential portfolio data accurately Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work toward specific target dates Proven track record of attention to detail and focus on accuracy Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, both tactically and strategically Ability to manage relationships with external vendors, and internally across legal, compliance, product, investment services, sales, marketing, and other operational groups across the organization Excellent written / oral communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills Ability to work independently and in a team setting Strong working knowledge of Excel, including advanced functions Experience with Corporate Actions a plus Facilitate readiness required for models to be delivered to existing and new platforms Ability to identify and act on opportunities for process improvement Build and support strong and collaborative partnerships across the organization Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.
