POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field required. Minimum of 5 years of financial services experience required Experience auditing logical access controls preferred Project management and technical auditing experience or experience with project and resource planning systems preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required. Advanced knowledge of middle office operations functions, and experience with financial service software, e.g. IBORs trading applications required. MAJOR DUTIES: Manage account lifecycle event projects by coordinating with various Global Investment Operations teams to assign tasks and deadlines. Maintain detailed project plans for various types of account lifecycle events, including but not limited to new accounts, account expirations, account service provider changes, and account mergers. Continuously look for opportunities to improve operational processes related to account lifecycle events. Enhance and refine our account lifecycle event system; seek out opportunities to utilize the system for new types of events. Coordinate closely with other departments within Federated Hermes to successfully complete projects; departments including but not limited to Global Advisory Management, Product, Global Technology Organization, Corporate Compliance, Trading & Front Office teams. Provide subject matter expertise with internal business partners to ensure that new endeavors will have appropriate operational support. Maintain and manage the list of Global Investment Operations technology and business projects within the project and resource planning system. Monitor staff efforts working on technology and business projects. Design and build metrics gathering processes for the Global Investment Operations team. Lead in the metrics report output and distributing periodic metrics reports to GIO leadership. Design and implement a new process to evaluate user access to systems used within Investment Advisory Services. Oversight of various key service provider relationships, e.g. custodians, responsible for holding periodic meetings to review status of activities with these service providers.
