About The Position

DoorDash is looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to help build our DashPass subscription business. DashPass is DoorDash's fastest growing and highest priority areas, which means you'll influence some of the key parts of our subscriber's experience, generate key insights and test new products. Together, we are building the world’s most valuable subscription product to attract and retain DoorDash’s most loyal customers. The Strategy & Operations Manager, DashPass role is focused on building new benefits that we can deliver to our DashPass subscribers. This includes developing the overarching strategy, incubating new ideas, and working with a cross functional team to bring these ideas to life. On a typical day, you might lead a new initiative, run and refine experiments to improve subscriber retention, dive into data to explain market performance at the lowest level of detail or metric trends, think up new ideas and translate them into an actionable test, and make sure we never stop learning & executing. Our best Strategy & Operations Managers are motivated, analytical, creative and have exceptional leadership and relationship-building skills. We are currently operating in a hybrid model, some time in-office and some time remote but it is quite flexible! You're excited about this opportunity because you will… Strategize - Innovate and work on support strategy within the DashPass business. Collaborate - Work cross-functionally with teams across DoorDash to build, launch, and scale new opportunities. Influence – Partner with many teams to make your ideas come to life; Product, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, Design, etc. Experiment - Use data-driven decision-making to run tests on everything from new support experience to retention-driving programs. Build - You are excited to work on something that hasn't been done before. Your job will include building products and launching plans from the ground up. Analyze - Assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions and iterate given insights.

Requirements

  • You have 6-8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, product, growth or other related areas.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to own initiatives, hit goals, and lead a cross-functional team
  • You have strong analytical skills (experience in SQL & Excel, building financial models, and performance tracking)
  • You can both build the overarching strategy and dive deep into specific issues and processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • You are biased toward action and have a track record of driving significant business impact
  • You bring structure, organization, and focus to your work and work with cross-functional teams
  • You have a BA/BS degree in quantitative or business fields.
