Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/ This Manager - Margin Expansion Deliver position, part of the MTSC Deliver Margin Expansion team, will be leading the shaping and execution of digital / analytics capabilities and process standards for Air to Ocean, Shipping Frequency & Consolidation and Direct Ship workstream globally The role is responsible for leading ideation and execution of portfolio of key analytics and digital capabilities to advance Margin Expansion Program by collaborating with workstream leaders and digital partners within and outside of JNJ Part of the role is to prepare cases and share updates on execution leaders while driving on time, on budget, execution and achieving desired outcomes This role combines business process ownership with data leadership and will support Margin Expansion Program through improved capabilities in Process, Automation, and Technology. The position is meaningful to ensure that Deliver has the capabilities to best serve our customers, enable future business strategy, and facilitate profitable, compliant, and balanced growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in Business engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Computer Science preferred.
  • Minimum six (6) years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in supply chain / customer service / planning / transport / distribution or IT, engineering
  • Experience in leading development of digital and analytics
  • Project management skills (FPX Project Leader certified) or other Project Management certification.
  • Proven successful implementation of complex projects with multiple stakeholders and partners.
  • Fluent in English required

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or MBA degree preferred.
  • Experience in setting up and running logistics product flow changes and associated implications in other SC pillars (i.e. Planning)
  • Experience in inventory planning and management capabilities.
  • Experience in large international corporations, MedTech and/or Pharmaceutical businesses
  • Continues Process Improvement, Process mapping, Six Sigma & Lean certification
  • Professional certification in Supply Chain e.g. APICS
  • Experience in New Product launches (NPI) and/or Acquisition & Divestiture processes
  • Experience in Order To Cash processes on ERP System
  • Digital & Financial acumen, leading complex budget.

Responsibilities

  • Leads, organizes, coordinates and directs efforts of interdisciplinary team responsible for the Deliver Margin Expansion initiatives
  • Lead supporting analysts for workstream to support results
  • Facilitates cross-functional teams to achieve the project goals.
  • Collaborate with all vital organizations that result in successful implementation of projects and programs.
  • Optimization focus area to include: Air to Ocean Conversion Direct Ship Flow Optimization Shipment service level, Shipment frequency and Consolidation System enhancement recommendations.
  • Organizes, leads and controls projects, responsible for developing integrated project plans, timelines and resource requirements relating to supply chain and logistics.
  • Coordinate project team and project resource & budget to ensure execution of the project plan.
  • Responsible for the processes, tools, and metrics related to the project management process and adherence to these processes.
  • Develop & align Final Project Objectives with workstream leaders, project team & sponsor, lead the production of the required results & integrated project plans.
  • Optimize strategy by implementing organizational change approaches to drive deployment & adoption.
  • Lead project risks, including the development of contingency plans, initiating corrective action, flagging any risk to sponsor & steering committee in timely manner.
  • Identifying and obtaining any support and advice required for the management, planning and control of the project.
  • Establish organizational change process
  • Lead end-to-end process mapping for current and future state, ensuring the broader supply chain ecosystem
  • Identify data requirements, mine data resources, and lead data mapping efforts for current and future state.
  • Act as SME for Operations and Systems to define future state requirements and to develop the operational process and data strategies.
  • Provide inputs during design phase to make data-based decisions on processes and systems to facilitate key design decisions.
  • Identify and define opportunities for process improvements.
  • Partner multi-functionally to establish the validation strategy and to develop testing and validation plans in accordance with current GxP requirements.
  • Collaborate across the J&J Supply Chain network and with external partners to align business requirements and deployment strategies.
  • Develop and maintain project plans to ensure implementation on time, on scope, and on budget.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to leadership and business partners.
  • Proactively identify and lead risks and resolve issues promptly.
