Purpose of the position To secure the best design of production layouts and processes that increase productivity, eliminate wastefulness and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards within an organization. To lead the Plant Industrial engineering and be part of the plant management team. This role is responsible for all industrial engineering and lean activities on the Ottawa Kalmar facility, Industrial CapEx, Daily operations support, NPD, New technologies adaptation, site long term strategy plan, etc.. The objective of this role is to act as a Lean expert and to support the establishment of a problem solving and continuous improvement culture in the Ottawa Kalmar plant through the development of people and processes.
