About The Position

This position is responsible for supervising and planning the execution of cost-effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment and processes required by the Processing, Maintenance, and Refrigeration departments. Key responsibilities include directing, coordinating, and supporting maintenance supervisors and personnel; collaborating with contractors, vendors, and company engineering teams for equipment modification or installation; and troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to equipment processes. Additionally, this role involves efficiently managing and maintaining highly automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and Robotics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of maintenance supervisor experience.
  • Proficiency in standard computer applications.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to give clear and precise directions to the workforce.
  • Extensive knowledge in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, refrigeration, automation, and maintenance training.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making abilities, organizational skills, and the ability to accept and delegate responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and plan cost-effective maintenance operations for all equipment and processes.
  • Direct, coordinate, and support maintenance supervisors and personnel.
  • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and company engineering teams for equipment modification or installation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to equipment processes.
  • Manage and maintain highly automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and Robotics.
  • Coordinate and maintain the maintenance training program for maintenance team members.
  • Assist in preparing and overseeing budgets.
  • Coordinate team member work schedules and ensure all necessary parts and assets for maintenance are available and maintained.
  • Provide information for managerial decision-making.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
