About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the Loan Set-Up department to ensure the daily input of loan applications submissions from wholesale brokers are completed in accordance with all company standards. Perform all duties and ensure all associates are trained to perform in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $80,000.00 to $95,000.00.

Requirements

• Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions
• Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the department’s credibility, operations, and services
• Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules of others on long-term basis
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy
• Ability to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports and/or to orally communicate technical information
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Eight (8) or more years of directly related mortgage industry experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a paperless environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Main contact of communication and support between the loan set up department and the various departments and individuals of the company throughout the process of the set-up of the loan, includes but not limited to Account Executive(s), Underwriting, Quality Control, Docs and Funding.
• Overseeing the Loan Set-Up department to ensure the daily input of loan applications submissions from wholesale brokers are completed.
• Oversee the operations outward facing to the external customer to ensure all service level agreements are met.
• Train all associates on all current policies/procedures as well as on-going revisions.
• Review process flows to continually improve or streamline workflow.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and appropriate back up is available at all times.
• Maintain highly confidential information concerning loan applicants
