BRF maintains its headquarters and a manufacturing facility in Macedon, New York; with a Culinary Innovation Center in Westmont, Illinois; and offices and manufacturing facilities in Williamson, New York; Pennsauken, New Jersey; and Corona, California. This role will be out of Macedon, NY (Hybrid). The Manager of Learning & Development (L&D) will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide learning programs that support organizational growth and capability building. This role will oversee the entire L&D function, including Manufacturing Training roles which are responsible for delivering learning programs to support Operations and the L&D Specialist who is responsible for enterprise training programs for all employees, such as New Employee Orientation, and the Learning Management System (LMS). The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for developing talent through learning & development programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Five (5) years of experience in Learning & Development.
  • Two (2) years in a leadership role managing a team.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training delivery methods.
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms and digital learning technologies.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the L&D team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Maintain positive relationships with external partners such as MCC FWD Center and RTMA.
  • Build and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce needs.
  • Design and implement enterprise-wide learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, compliance, and onboarding.
  • Partner with various stakeholders, such as HR, Operations, and Leadership, to identify skill gaps and create targeted learning solutions.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of technical training across all manufacturing plants.
  • Support the development and delivery of training for operations employees.
  • Oversee the administration and optimization of the LMS to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and compliance.
  • Drive adoption of digital learning tools and blended learning approaches.
  • Ensure learning content in LMS aligns to best practices and BRF brand standards.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with learning content vendors and oversee the management of learning-related contracts.
  • Establish metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and ROI.
  • Continuously assess and refine learning initiatives based on feedback and business needs.
