Overview The Food & Beverage Manager assists the department head in oversight of the activities of the Hotel Outlets. Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards. Helps ensure high standards of Food and Beverage quality and service, and outstanding Guest Service. Trains, supervises, coaches, schedules, and manages staff.

Requirements

  • Two to three years of similar experience in Hospitality.
  • Ability to work weekends, flexible schedule, and Holidays.
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, Open Table, POS, Micros)
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
  • Communication and leadership skills
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics, which inspire employees to meet and exceed standards.
  • Ensure consistency of product and service.
  • Maintain work areas clean and organized.
  • Promote employee empowerment.
  • Promote repeat customer service through establishing quality service and food.
  • Report unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Train, supervise, develop, discipline, and counsel employees in accordance with Davidson policies and procedures.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor to include cross-training.
  • Solve unusual customer requests creatively.
  • Attend all required meetings.
  • Conduct performance appraisals.
  • Deal with guest complaints or requests.
