About The Position
Oversees the daily management of a comprehensive information/data security program, including policies, procedures, servers, networks, internet, remote access, and the content for workforce training materials to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data in line with government endorsed standards. Evaluates hardware and software products consistent with architectural standards and security objectives. Collaborates with systems and technology managers, internal departments, stakeholders, and external parties to ensure security is maintained at the highest level and risk is reduced to acceptable levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal 4-year program.
- Eight years of relevant IS experience including knowledge of Federal & State healthcare privacy and security laws, regulations and standards.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) required.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
- Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) preferred.
