Provide IT infrastructure to support Habasit America business objectives across Canada, United States and Mexico.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • 10 years of experience in Information Technology
  • 2 years of experience in managing technical resources
  • Service-oriented, courteous and assertive

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Technical skills and experience in Local and Wide Area Networks
  • Experience in managing a Windows Server environment (Microsoft 365, AD, etc.)
  • Experience with relational database technology (SQL Server)
  • Experience with virtualization, backup and storage solutions (e.g., VMware, Veeam)
  • Master’s degree in relevant field

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and management of IT Operations across Canada, Mexico and the United States.
  • Oversee Information Technology related problem analysis and resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Recommend, plan and implement information technology investments to support company objectives based on research and evaluation.
  • Directs implementation and execution of new/upgraded information technology via well-defined plans including procedures, deadlines, and accountability.
  • Evaluates and implements IT procedures and equipment for maximum efficiency and cost containment.
  • Ensures users/customers are provided professional, courteous, and timely support for all Level 1 and Level 2 incidents and service requests.
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support as needed.
  • Coordination of Level 3 support with other Habasit teams and external partners.
  • Structure, lead, train, and develop IT staff for maximum effectiveness.
  • Provide capital and operating expense forecasting, management and accountability for US IT Operations.
  • Communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and status updates with Habasit America and Global IT management, as needed.
  • Stay abreast of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain IT components of the company’s Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan.
  • Collaborate with global IT Operations team to develop and implement global best practice policies and procedures.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
