Responsible for managing a team that provides IT and related support to all business units within the organization related to SAP and related systems including Ariba, Concur Travel, Concur Expense, and the SAC reporting environment. Serves as the primary facilitator and liaison with key Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) stakeholders to manage and prioritize change requests and new functional requirements. Responsible for leading and developing assigned employees and provides support to team members to enhance outcomes and improve performance. Additional responsibilities include leading training and sustainment activities across the organization related to back office functions including financial management, procurement, inventory management, and master data management.

  • Provides management oversight to assigned employees; responsible for employee development, goal setting, and discipline.
  • Develops and maintains business relationships with key internal and external partners to ensure successful implementation lifecycle of new business requirements and change requests.
  • Supports the development of digital corporate ERP strategies to increase internal business operating efficiencies.
  • Provides expert IT advice to deliver effective technical solutions to G3 business units.
  • Evaluates the company's current structure and operations (both non-computerized andcomput erized workflow), and identifies areas where efficiency and effectiveness can be improved through the use of modern digital strategies.
  • Recommends organizational structures and design to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the IT Department.
  • Prepares project-phase plans and implementation schedules, plans and conducts meetings and workshops relative to these project plans, and communicates project status reporting to all levels of management.
  • Leads department and interdepartmental project teams and works cross-functionally to improve processes within the organization.
  • Provides assistance to other divisions and departments on changes, new applications and related issues; reviews and evaluates requests for new services, hardware and software.
  • Ensures the integrity and security of all information systems.
  • Participates in professional group meetings; stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of Information Technology.
  • Applies current technology or researches and acquires new technical knowledge to complete moderate to complex projects and advises others on current issues and designs. (Data lake) and new digital strategies for business performance.
  • Works cross-functionally to develop and drive delivery of corporate OGSMs, embedding initiatives required in supporting functions.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. Responsible for ensuring the understanding and compliance by all subordinates.
  • Develops, coaches, and mentors subordinate staff.
  • Conducts performance evaluations; recommends salary adjustments; rewards employees or takes disciplinary action, as necessary; addresses complaints and resolves issues.
  • Plans, directs, coordinates and reviews the work plan for assigned staff; assigns work activities and projects; reviews and evaluates work products, methods and procedures; meets with staff to identify and resolve problems.
  • High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Finance plus 5 years of IT management, applications programming or systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; Or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Finance plus 4 years of G3 IT management, applications programming or systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; Or High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years of IT, Engineering, or Finance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; Or High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of G3 IT, Engineering, or Finance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a diverse, high performing team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Finance plus 10 years of IT management, applications programming or systems analysis experience to include experience in a manufacturing or operations environment with demonstrated business results reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Master’s degree with emphasis in Information Systems and Technologies.
  • Excellent demonstrated negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience addressing strategic issues as well as day-to-day operational concerns.
  • Relevant work experience and demonstrated proficiency in manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics.
  • Solid performance record of building effective teams and forging successful relationships.
  • Possess Professional Project Manager (PPM) certification.
  • Understands operational characteristics, services and activities of a comprehensive data services/network center.
  • Demonstrated skill in thinking both broadly and deeply; to develop strategies/supporting objectives and ensure they are achieved through technical and business expertise.
  • Balances management acumen with information system knowledge.
  • Strong communicator, negotiates and forges relationships with a variety of departments, vendors and clients.
  • Skilled with organizational and management practices as applied to the analysis and evaluation of programs, policies and operational needs.
  • Understands the concepts, principles, practices and operational characteristics of emerging technology in assigned area of responsibility.
  • Experienced with methods and techniques of hardware and software installation.
  • Understands local and wide area network concepts and operating systems.
