As a Staff IT Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of delivering high-impact, high-visibility projects that directly shape the future of Beyond Finance. You'll be a key partner to our executive leadership, working to drive significant change across our End User Computing, Workplace Technology, and Information Security domains. This isn't a typical IT role. You'll have significant agency to define how problems are solved, leveraging a cutting-edge tech stack in a fully cloud-enabled environment. We're looking for someone who can thrive in an agile setting, take ownership of projects from start to finish, and navigate complex technical challenges with confidence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT, with a strong background in systems engineering, endpoint management, or cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio of technical projects and a solid understanding of project management methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
• Deep expertise in at least one of our core domains: End User Computing, Workplace Technology, or Information Security.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a people management or formal team leadership role.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Google Workspace, Endpoint DLP tooling, and Endpoint Patching.
• Knowledge of modern security principles, including Zero Trust architecture and SASE/SSE.
• An understanding of endpoint security tools and SecOps work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver a portfolio of top-priority technical projects from start to finish, bringing rigor and predictability to complex, multi-system changes.
• Implement and refine project management processes to ensure smooth, high-quality deployments with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate closely with business leaders and other technology teams to align our IT initiatives with key business goals.
• Drive change through expert communication and stakeholder management, ensuring everyone is on board and aware of upcoming changes.
