The Opportunity This role reports to the Director - Supply Chain Materials Management, Logistics & Warehousing and is accountable for the leadership and oversight of TCE’s inventory management team located across Canada and the US. The team supports available, reliable, and sustainable operations of TCE’s assets, and the corresponding need for readily available critical and operating spares. The inventory management function at TCE also supports maintenance and integrity program projects with opportunities to effectively source and manage commonly used materials in inventory. This position provides exposure to TCE’s business operations, projects and technical service senior stakeholders. The role is an excellent opportunity to directly impact TCE’s bottom line results through advanced planning, collaboration, innovative solutions, efficient management and optimization, and custodianship of more than $350M of inventory across Canada and the US. As a key leader, the Inventory Manager will develop a high level of subject matter expertise and be accountable for the oversight of team workloads, prioritization, productivity, performance management, troubleshooting and issue resolution, as well as minor conflict resolution. In addition to their direct reports, this leadership role will also be required to indirectly lead and influence several stakeholders and peers.
