About The Position

Lifetime Brands is moving into the neighborhood! We are building a brand-new state-of-the-art warehouse in Hagerstown, MD. This new build will allow us to meet growing demand and establish an even more efficient and modern operation. We are currently seeking a Facilities Supervisor to be a crucial part of this transition, helping us establish new processes as we settle into our new home. Position Summary: This position is responsible for the operation of the Inventory Control Department. This includes, but is not limited to the following: Supervising Cycle Counters and Auditors on the warehouse floor, ensuring all work is completed accurately and in a timely manner, completion of the monthly Inventory Control KPI Metrics Reporting (Cycle Count Metrics, Inventory Data, Monthly Adjustment analysis, etc.), overseeing the Inventory Accuracy Task Force, creation/validation of Inventory Control Reports within WMS (Warehouse Management System), and reconciling inventory issues on a daily basis. Another equally important aspect of the role is to acquire advanced knowledge and in-dept understanding of the WMS system to ensure that future inventory control issues are proactively resolved. Further, the position will provide critical insight, analysis and explanation of often-complicated interrelationships existing within the system and among various elements affecting WMS inventory.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
  • 4-5 Years of proven success in inventory accuracy management.
  • Proven experience managing a staff of 2-5 Associates
  • Understanding that Inventory Integrity is critical.
  • Advanced Supply Chain/Logistics understanding.
  • Strong organizational skills enabling incumbent to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel / Word skills a must.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A “hands on” approach to completing tasks.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers / resources.
  • Ability to work effectively with other Departments to resolve inventory related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising IC Cycle Counters & Auditors
  • Complete Monthly IC Metrics Reporting
  • Resole daily IC issues (root cause analysis)
  • Inventory Accuracy Task Force (creation, meeting, feedback)
  • Training/retraining of IC associates
  • Adhere to current SOPs and SOX covering IC Cycle Counters and Auditors
  • Other IC related responsibilities as may be required
  • Assist Logistics Controller with financial and ad-hoc analysis i.e. Daily Flash, KPI, Budgeting, EY liaison, etc.
