In alignment with Marmon’s continuing growth, our Corporate Communications team is now seeking a strategic and innovative Manager of Internal Communications to influence and shape our employee engagement strategy by focusing on the following key deliverables: Partner with corporate functional leaders to design and execute strategic internal communications that align with business goals and deliver impactful outcomes. Assist with developing and maintaining our internal communications function, aiding in driving employee engagement and awareness of company-wide and functional initiatives Contribute to the management of various internal communication channels and tools, including our digital workplace, videos, and webinars, while exploring new avenues for employee outreach Collaborate on the oversight and administration of Marmon's internal digital workplace, ensuring its effectiveness and alignment with communication goals Support the coordination of internal communication cycles across our global employee base, such as annual training and/or compliance requirements Metrics and Measurements of Success: your success in this role will be quantified through metrics reflecting increased employee engagement scores, enhanced readership/viewership of internal communication channels, measurable positive feedback from leadership, and other relevant performance indicators. Cross-functional Collaboration: you’ll closely collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Finance, IT, HR, Legal, Continuous Improvement, and Innovation, to ensure alignment of communication efforts with broader organizational objectives. Change Management: you’ll be instrumental in managing communication during change initiatives, ensuring a steady and effective flow of relevant information to all key stakeholders. Global and Multicultural Communication Experience: you’ll leverage your experience in communicating across diverse cultures, languages, and time zones across which Marmon operates. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: you’ll stay attuned to evolving communication trends and technologies, and you’ll recommend and participate in the exploration of new strategies to enhance our internal communication effectiveness. Collaboration and Professional Growth: you’ll work closely with experienced Communications team professionals, learning from their expertise and contributing to a highly collaborative and supportive team environment. Crisis Communication Experience: you’ll demonstrate your ability to handle sensitive and challenging communication scenarios, maintaining transparency and providing clarity in difficult circumstances. #LI-Hybrid

Requirements

  • At least 5-7 years of experience working in Corporate Communications or related fields with roles progressively increasing in scope and responsibility
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a closely related field
  • Experience supporting functions across an organization (e.g. IT, Finance, HR)
  • Superb initiative to recognize the crucial role effective communication plays in achieving business outcomes
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate business strategy into relatable, actionable messages for diverse audiences
  • Strong expertise in intranet administration and engagement, complemented by advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and decision-making skills with a bias toward action
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and confidently create appropriate solutions in uncertain situations
