About the position

The Manager of Internal Audit at Triumph Financial is responsible for leading and managing SOX testing and planning activities, including risk assessments and coordination with external auditors. This role also involves overseeing operational internal audits across the enterprise, ensuring effective communication with all levels of management, and preparing audit reports for committees. The position is crucial for maintaining compliance and enhancing the company's internal control environment.

Responsibilities

• Leads and prepares annual financial statement and significant account mapping and risk assessment to ensure appropriate SOX controls are in place.
• Leads the SOX control design assessment and process walkthroughs, ensuring documentation of appropriate SOX controls and processes.
• Executes all phases of SOX testing and coordinates reliance from external auditors.
• Assesses SOX deficiencies and communicates findings to management and external auditors in a timely manner.
• Supervises staff to ensure timely completion of testing and activities.
• Leads internal audits, including operational and IT audits across the enterprise.
• Manages the follow-up process and validation of management action plans for completed audits.
• Assists in preparing audit reports and materials for committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business field (Accounting, Finance, MIS).
• CPA or CIA required.
• 5+ years of SOX and Internal Audit experience.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong SOX, Audit, and Project management skills.
• Strong communication skills, analytical and critical thinking skills, and attention to detail.
