Manager, Insurance Reporting & Analytics
About The Position
We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Manager of Insurance Reporting & Analytics to lead a cross-functional team supporting actuarial, accounting, and FP&A functions. This role is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights, driving strategic decision-making, and ensuring alignment cross functionally. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data analytics, a working knowledge of accounting principles, and hands-on experience partnering with actuaries. They will also play a key role in audit readiness by working closely with internal and external auditors on critical audit items. This position includes direct management of one team member.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Insurance Reporting & Analytics function, managing one direct report and collaborating across actuarial, accounting, and FP&A teams
- Build and maintain analytical models to support pricing, reserving, and financial forecasting
- Translate complex actuarial and financial data into executive-level reports and dashboards
- Partner with actuaries to assess reserve adequacy as well as future rate setting
- Apply accounting principles to validate assumptions and ensure financial data accuracy
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address critical audit items and ensure compliance
- Ensure data integrity across systems and streamline reporting processes
- Identify opportunities to improve analytics tools, workflows, and team capabilities
