About The Position

The Manager - Inside Sales plays a critical role in driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting our services. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with strong research, cold-calling, and relationship-building skills, capable of managing leads and fostering long-term partnerships with key industry stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 Years proven experience in inside sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the industrial, manufacturing, or industrial services sector.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage leads, track sales activities, and follow up on opportunities.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong research skills to identify new construction and maintenance projects and target key decision-makers.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with construction contractors, maintenance managers, and reliability engineers.
  • Proficiency in cold calling with a track record of generating leads and securing meetings with prospects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for creating reports, presentations, and managing data.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Leadership attributes, to include integrity, self-awareness, resilience and the ability to collaborate, and inspire and motivate others.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Research: Conduct research to identify upcoming new construction and maintenance projects during outages, targeting opportunities for services.
  • Cold Calling: Perform cold calling to prospective clients, introducing our lubricant services and scheduling introductory meetings to discuss solutions.
  • Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with construction contractors, maintenance managers, and reliability engineers to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to develop tailored solutions for clients based on their specific needs.
  • Tracking: Enter leads into the CRM system, track progress, and follow up on projects to ensure timely engagement and conversion.
  • Monitoring: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to refine sales strategies.
