Raytheon is looking for a Manager, Information and Workplace Services to be responsible for the local network domain at FRCSE, managing Windows local domain network, the upkeep and change requests for the digital board and Field Engineering web applications, and assist with test equipment trouble shooting from a software/computer perspective. This position will be onsite in Jacksonville, FL

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) and Database Engineer (DBE).
  • Experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) solutions, such as Oracle, Postgres, or related systems.
  • Experience virtualizing or containerizing databases.
  • Experience using Linux command line to perform database administration activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Systems and Software Engineers to implement and modify backend databases to interact with applications within a development environment.
  • Existing Security+ Certification
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience with NoSQL database products such as MongoDB and DynamoDB.
  • Experience troubleshooting database issues such as DR, replication & backups and other related issues.
  • Experience with database security controls and audit & compliance requirements.
  • Experience with automating routine tasks.
  • Experience with Spatial databases.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and understand customer needs and apply sound, demonstrable understanding of database principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering to translate those needs to viable design solutions.
  • Successfully integrate Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products as part of customer-driven solutions.
  • Code and maintain a Depot Digital Board and Department database on AWS server.
