About The Position

The Manager, Infection Control is responsible for developing, cording, and supervising the multiple facets of the Infection Prevention program.

Requirements

• Current NJ RN License
• BSN
• BLS
• CIC and CEN Certified
• 3-5+ years infection control experience in an acute care hospital environment
• Supervisory infection control experience
• Experience and knowledge of infection control policies and practices
• Demonstrate leadership skills
• Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills
• Experienced in regulatory requirements governing hospitals/healthcare

Responsibilities

• Participates with and assists the organization towards achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance, accreditation compliance and achieve excellent outcomes with other clinical quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversees, directs and guides the organization toward achieving current and future goals.
• Manages the day-to-day activities of the Infection Prevention program.
• Responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures relating to Infection Control.
• Maintains the quality control programs.
• Manages and coordinates prevention and control activities.
• Collaboration with county and state Public Health authorities on community health issues.
