About The Position

The Manager in Training (MIT) program is designed to develop future Retail Sales Managers at True Legacy Homes. As an MIT, you will gain hands-on experience in estate sales operations, team management, and customer service. Under the guidance of a Retail Sales Manager, you will learn how to lead a team, drive sales, and create a seamless shopping experience for customers. Upon successful completion of the MIT program, you will have the opportunity to advance into a Retail Sales Manager role, where you will lead your own sales team. MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY

Requirements

  • Valid Class C driver’s license.
  • Open availability (including weekends and holidays) to meet retail business needs.
  • Verifiable 2 years or more experience in a retail or hospitality setting is required.
  • Strong leadership potential with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a retail or hospitality setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing estate sale events, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
  • Support the Retail Sales Manager in team supervision, training, and performance management.
  • Engage with customers, provide product knowledge, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Help with merchandising, inventory organization, and overall store presentation.
  • Work closely with the Donation Team and Movers to facilitate seamless estate transitions.
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
