Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of healthcare technology implementation experience, including EHR/EMR platforms.
  • 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
  • Deep understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare compliance, and HIPAA.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple implementations and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to drive decisions and improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical background in behavioral health or general healthcare strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SaaS/cloud-based healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities

  • People Leadership & Team Development Directly manage, coach, and develop a team of Clinical Implementation Specialists.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback, mentoring, and career development.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and skills assessments.
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing enablement for new and existing team members.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee customer implementations from kickoff through go-live, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to best practices.
  • Review implementation plans, timelines, configurations, and risk areas to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ensure state, regulatory, and reporting requirements are accurately captured and implemented.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex customer, clinical, or configuration challenges.
  • Ensure implementations align with clinical standards, HIPAA requirements, and company delivery frameworks.
  • Monitor team capacity, workload distribution, and utilization.
  • Identify trends, risks, and bottlenecks across implementations and proactively drive solutions.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, CRM usage, and project tracking across the team.
  • Partner with leadership to refine implementation methodologies, templates, and processes.
  • Contribute to forecasting, staffing needs, and scaling plans as the business grows.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Training teams.
  • Provide feedback from implementations to influence product roadmap and process improvements.
  • Align with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs post–go-live.
  • Participate in customer-facing meetings as needed to support strategic or high-risk implementations.
