About The Position

Manager II (Apps Consultant) (full-time; multiple openings) needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to design, develop, enhance, customize, and integrate software applications. Develop systems requirements and implement systems strategy. Perform impact analysis of any code or design changes. Create data models, workflow designs, and integration approaches. Install necessary software and customize software to clients' unique requirements. Responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and release management, or technical and functional application management of client-specific package-based solutions. Modify design as needed to maintain optimal application performance. Monitor application performance and identify issues that impact performance. Design and develop specifications for tracking applications for end users. Resolve issues to ensure delivery of project. Coordinate with application support team to eliminate recurring incidents and to minimize the impact of incidents.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equiv) in Computer Science, Business, Engineering (any), Math, or related field, plus two (2) years of IT experience.
  • Must have one (1) year of IT work experience with any one of the following skill sets: Azure, AWS, and Autosys; HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; OR Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept three (3) years of post-secondary study in any field, plus three (3) years of IT experience.
  • All experience may be acquired concurrently.
  • Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs.
  • International travel not required.
  • Travel not to exceed 5% / year for meetings and to complete assigned projects of varying lengths.
  • Telecommuting may be permitted as needed.
