About The Position

Capgemini America Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Lead Applications Consultant based out of its Chicago, IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work at various unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: conduct software-specific design and realization; analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost restraints; coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met; perform testing, deployment and release management, and/or technical and functional application management of package based solutions, including SQL or ORACLE; build solutions and maintain/optimize/improve client applications and systems; and contribute to business and technical blueprint and respective Software Package Core Modules.

Requirements

• bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, HR, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any) or closely related field
• at least 2 years of experience in the job offered, as Management Consultant, System Analyst, or related IT position
• any period of experience performing business software analysis, design, configuration, testing and support in packages, including SQL, ORACLE, UNIX, ASP.NET or J2SE
• any period of experience performing full life cycle project implementations, including project blueprint, realization, go-live, and post go -live support
• any period of experience with data mapping and working with third party vendors
• any period of experience utilizing Exstream to optimize customer engagements
